March heralds the return of the Congress
Avenue bats in Austin. Starting in March
thousands of Mexican free-tailed bats
migrate North. Don't miss this popular
attraction.
Our bat-watching tour departs from Embassy
Suites hotel downtown 300 S. Congress.
(Right across from the bat statue) It takes
you around some of the city's points of
interest before arriving at the bat-watching
location. After the bats have gone out, it's
time to take you down 6th street to show
you some of the other Austin's night
creatures. The bats emerge around dusk, but
the time varies from night to night. Also,
weather can play a part. Call for departure
time and to reserve your spot.
We provide blankets and refreshments.
